To provide a solid/liquid separation device to be used as a secondary dehydration mechanism of a filtration device, capable of uniformly and sufficiently reducing the liquid content of an object to be treated (cake), and capable of continuously carrying out solid/liquid separation.
The solid/liquid separation device includes a pair of endless separation filter cloths 1, 8 overlaid on and wound around the outer circumference of a separation roller 7 rotating in the circumferential direction, in a manner enabling them to travel along the rotation direction T of the separation roller 7, so that an object P to be treated fed between the pair of separation filter cloths 1, 8 is sandwiched therebetween and compressed thereby on the outer circumferential face of the separation roller 7 and is aerated and dehydrated by an aeration gas A ejected from a plurality of aeration holes 9 formed on the outer circumferential face of the separation roller 7. The device further includes a distribution means 25 that is interposed between the outer circumferential face of the separation roller 7 and the separation filter cloth 1 disposed on the side of the separation roller 7, and distributes the aeration gas A therebetween.
