To provide a fluid filtration system and a method of venting air out of a strainer each capable of reducing the risk of allowing a fluid to flow out of an air vent valve upon venting air out of a strainer.
The fluid filtration system 10 is equipped with a group of filtration devices 12, two upstream pipes 14, 14, two downstream pipes 16, 16, a delivery pump 60, a communication pipe 70, and an intermediate valve 72 inserted in the communication pipe 70. Two pairs of filtration devices 20, 40 are parallelly disposed in the group of filtration devices 12. More specifically, the filtration device 20 is equipped with a strainer 22 that filters a fluid, an inlet valve 24 and an outlet valve 26 each attached to the inlet side and the outlet side of the strainer 22 respectively, and a midstream pipe 28. The inlet valve 24, the strainer 22, and the outlet valve 26 are each connected with one after another in the above order by the midstream pipe 28.
