To provide a downsized non-contact transmitter performing a highly efficient transmission within a range of 0-10 mm of distance between a primary coil and a secondary coil, and also to provide an induction heating cooker.
The non-contact transmitter 1 is configured of a transmission section 2a and a receiving section 2b, wherein power transmission and data communication are performed between them by electromagnetic induction. In each of the transmission section 2a and the receiving section 2b, a coil structure 7 is formed by integrating an inner coil, an outer coil and a ferrite core provided between the coils to increase the distance between the coils. Upon detecting that the distance between the coil structures 7a, 7b exceeds a predetermined value, based on an electromotive force by electromagnetic induction, switching sections 6a, 6b simultaneously connect the inner coil and the outer coil to a power supply section 5 and a communication section 4 or to the communication section 4 and the power supply section 5, respectively. Thus an interference between power transmission and data communication is suppressed, and the coil structure 7 is reduced in size.
