To provide a paper money processor for improving operability and storage efficiency when a storage cassette is empty.
The paper money processor comprises a bag body 42 made of cloth and which can be easily deformed in any direction; a metal frame 43 to be attached to an opening section 41 of the bag body 42; a slide shutter 64 for opening and closing an intake 61 inside the frame 43; and a processor main body 2 constituted of a storage cassette 3 capable of storing paper moneys S in the bag body 42 through the inlet 61 in the frame 43 with the shutter 64 opened; a support means 50 for supporting the frame 43 of the loaded storage cassette 3; and an elevator means 106 for rising and descending so that the middle part of the bag body 42 for the storage cassette 3 supported by the support means 50 is narrowed.
