To provide a method of reducing the power consumption of a slave station which receives pieces of control information from two control stations.
A doorphone master unit as a sub-control station transmits the incoming presence/absence information of the doorphone master unit with a TDMA frame in timing to the transmission of incoming presence/absence information that a telephone master unit as a main control station periodically transmits. A telephone doorphone cooperative slave unit capable of being synchronized with the telephone master unit and doorphone master unit and connected with both the units for telephone calling receives the pieces of control information from both the master units with frames by which the pieces of incoming presence/absence information are transmitted, and performs intermittent reception control to stop control information reception until next incoming presence/absence information is transmitted. By this constitution, an intermittent period equal to the standby state of one control station can be secured.
