There provided are the vehicle position computing device comprising an other vehicle position detection means 11 for detecting the position of the other vehicle loaded in an own present vehicle, an other-vehicle position information acquisition means 14 for acquiring the position information of the other vehicle from the outside and an other-vehicle selection means 10 for selecting the other vehicle of the position information corresponding to the position of the other vehicle detected by the other vehicle position detection means 11, and the vehicle selection method.
