To provide a reflux bill processing apparatus provided with a plurality of reflux bill storing parts for each denomination, used for collecting bill from respective bill storing parts at a closing time or the like in a short period of time while positively achieving reduction in size without increasing the size and cost of the apparatus caused when a special dedicated collection cassette is equipped besides the bill storing parts.
All of a first bill stored in a first bill storing part 20 is transported to a second bill storing part 25 by repeating the operation of sending each first bill in the first bill storing part 20 to a temporary storing part 30 to stack the bill up to a predetermined quantity and after that collectively transporting a bundle of the first bill in the temporary storing part to the second bill storing part 25.
