To provide an event information management system capable of improving maintainability without requiring frequent maintenance work or a high-performance, expensive XML database.

During initialization a terminal control part 13 registers in an event information processing part 12 the kind of internal process information to be disclosed to the outside. The event information processing part 12 creates the table needed to create a DTD file. After initialization of the terminal control part 13 is complete, the DTD table is transmitted to an external database server 2. An operation information processing part 22 creates the DTD file based on the DTD table received and registers the created DTD file in an XML database 23.
