Abstract:
To provide a battery metal component suitable for use in a battry, having favorable electric connectivity with equipment side contact terminals and excelling in appearance, productivity, and cost efficiency.
The battery metal component 21 is pressed in a shape having a terminal portion 24. The battery metal component 21 is provided with a base material 25 containing iron; a first nickel-plated layer 26 formed on the outer surface 25a of the base material 25 and virtually containing no sulfur and no sulfur compound and a second nickel-plated layer 27 formed on the first nickel-plated layer 26 and containing sulfur and sulfur compound.
