Abstract:
The present invention discloses method and apparatus for storing document data in a docbase management system. The method includes: describing document data by using a tree structure; splitting the document data into multiple data fragments based on the tree structure when storing the document data; and storing the data fragments based on the tree structure by making each data fragment correspond to a node in the tree structure.
