Abstract:
To provide a technology with which components with similar nature, such as polarity can be separated from each other with a simplest possible operation, and an analysis pretreatment technology with which the components separated accordingly can be easily measured without disturbance.
A chromatographic support made of surface-modified silica gel is obtained by bonding the functional group having alkylthio group to the silica gel surface and then oxidizing the alkylthio group to alkylsulfonyl group. Using a column for separating aromatic organic compounds in which the chromatographic support is filled, aromatic organic compounds are separated.
