To provide a water treatment method which can enhance the adsorption performance of an activated carbon, dispenses with artificially regenerating the activated carbon, and is excellent in a purification performance, and to provide a water treatment device.
The water treatment method comprises passing micronano bubble-containing water to be treated containing a micronano bubble in water to be treated through a biological treatment apparatus 42, and then flowing into an activated carbon adsorption column 12 filled with the activated carbon in which microorganisms propagate themselves. Thus, an organic substance contained in the micronano bubble-containing water to be treated is decomposed by the microorganisms.
