Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging apparatus which can maintain a function of cleaning the contact part of an object to be charged such as a battery pack for a long period of time, because the charge terminal of a charging apparatus may be broken or damaged by a slide contact between the contact part of the battery pack and the charge terminal of the charging apparatus.SOLUTION: The charging apparatus includes a charge terminal (contact) for contact with a battery pack 1 and a space 5 in which the battery pack 1 is housed when it is charged. Furthermore, the charging apparatus includes a cleaning unit part 6 for cleaning a contact part 2 of the battery pack 1. The cleaning unit part 6 is removably attached to a body part, and is provided with a function of cleaning the contact part 2 of the battery pack 1.
