Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of compensating for lithium corresponding to an irreversible capacity while minimizing deterioration in adhesiveness between a collector and a negative electrode active material layer in a negative electrode after predoping.
The negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery includes a collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the collector and containing a negative electrode active material. Gaps are intermittently arranged in the surface direction of the collector on 10-60% (area ratio) of the surface of the collector.
