Abstract:

To provide an equipment control system of low cost which can reduce power consumption at the time of being absent while restraining discomfortable feeling to a user caused by stoppage of loaded equipment based on erroneous detection.

A controller 1 lights up an lighting fixture 4 in response to an ON-operation of a user. The controller 1 makes the lighting fixture 4 switch to a preliminary operation state for performing dimming lighting of the lighting fixture 4 when a time for making a people-sensitive sensor 3 detect non-existence of people in a room exceeds a designated operation retaining time during a normal operation of the lighting fixture 4, and makes the lighting fixture 4 switch to a stoppage standby state for turning off the lighting fixture 4 if the people-sensitive sensor 3 can not detect existence of people in the room until the designated preliminary operation time passes from a preliminary operation starting time, and makes the lighting fixture 4 operate at a normal operation state if the people-sensitive sensor 3 detects existence of people in the room until the preliminary operation time passes from the preliminary operation starting time, and furthermore, makes the lighting fixture 4 operate at a preliminary operation state if the people-sensitive sensor 3 detects existence of people in the room until the designated stoppage standby time passes from starting of the stoppage standby state.
