Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a control method of an internal combustion engine, which suppress operation of a supercharger and stabilize the number of idle rotation of the internal combustion engine when compression S/L mode is executed in cold starting in the internal combustion engine mounted with the supercharger.SOLUTION: The control device (34) controls the number of engine rotation when compression slight-lean control is performed in cold starting of a vehicle (10) mounted with the internal combustion engine (12) having the supercharger (18). Especially, the control device (34) has an intake pressure detection means (62) for detecting an intake pressure of an intake tube (14) and a motor generator (28) torque assisting the internal combustion engine, and controls an assist torque value of the motor generator so that the number of engine rotation becomes a specified target value based on the intake pressure.
