PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict deposition of a material originated from a liquid reducing agent or a precursor thereof into a mixing device.SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device for an engine includes: a SCR catalyst which selectively reduces and controls NOx in the exhaust by using the reducing agent; an injection nozzle which injects the liquid reducing agent or the precursor thereof to an upstream of the exhaust of the SCR catalyst; and the mixing device (a mixer) 36 disposed in an exhaust passage, which is positioned between the injection nozzle and the SCR catalyst, and including a fin 36E which advances mixing of the liquid reducing agent or the precursor thereof injected from the injection nozzle with the exhaust. The fin 36E of the mixing device 36 is structured of a heater belt which generates the heat by receiving the supply of power. With this structure, deposition of crystals from the liquid reducing agent or the precursor thereof adhered to the fin 36E can be restricted by appropriately controlling the fin 36E, which is formed of a heater belt, to generate the heat.
