Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy which can store and release hydrogen near a normal temperature, which has a high rechargeable hydrogen storage capacity, which requires a low cost, and which is excellent in cycle durability.SOLUTION: A hydrogen storage alloy includes a bcc structure phase represented by TiCrVNbFe(1.5≤y/x<3, 15≤z<65, 1≤v≤10, 0≤w<5, and x+y+z+v+w=100) as a main phase; y/x is preferably between 1.6 and 2.8; and v is preferably between 1.5 and 8.5.
