Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for heating a NOx sensor capable of reliably determining drying of the NOx sensor.SOLUTION: A heat balance factor k in the NOx sensor 110 is multiplied by a heat quantity Temp of exhaust gas to calculate a stored heat quantity of the NOx sensor 110, and a heat balance factor map 5 with heat balance factors k set therefor according to outside air temperature and a vehicle speed is referred to using outside air temperature and a vehicle speed to read out a heat balance factor k, which is used for calculation of the stored heat quantity. If the calculated stored heat quantity is a drying determination value or more, the NOx sensor 110 is determined to be dried, and a temperature rise by a heater 2 is permitted.
