Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the width of a motorcycle while ensuring the rigidity of a pivot plate in a footrest structure of the motorcycle.SOLUTION: A footrest structure of a motorcycle includes a vehicle body frame 11 having a main frame extending backwardly from a head pipe and a pivot plate 18 connected to a rear end of the main frame to constitute a vehicle body, a swing arm which is mounted on a pivot plate 18 to pivotably support a rear wheel, a footrest bracket 51 which is fastened to the pivot plate 18 via first and second mounting parts 71, 72, and a footrest which extends outward of the vehicle body at a fore end of the footrest bracket 51, and is turnably mounted thereon. The footrest bracket 51 is fastened to a rear face 18C at the position where a pivot of the pivot plate 18 when the first and second mounting parts 71, 72 are abutted, and bolts 74, 75 are inserted from a rear side.
