Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a retardation film having an easily adhesive layer, by which an easily adhesive layer can be formed without reducing a phase difference exhibited by a retardation film itself.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a retardation film having an easily adhesive layer, a coated surface of a dispersion element of a urethane resin is formed by applying the dispersion element on a surface of an acrylic resin film, a retardation film is formed by extending the acrylic resin film on which the coated surface is formed under a heating atmosphere, and an easily adhesive layer containing the urethane resin is formed on the surface of the formed retardation film by heat treatment of the coated surface with heat under the heating atmosphere.
