Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery of which endurance characteristics such as cycle and storage characteristics are improved.SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt and a nonaqueous solvent that dissolves the lithium salt; a negative electrode that can absorb, store, and release lithium ions; and a positive electrode. The negative electrode contains a negative electrode active material containing at least one carbonaceous material having a Raman R value of 0.1 or more, the Raman R value being defined as a ratio of a peak intensity at 1,360 cmrelative to a peak intensity at 1,580 cmin an argon ion laser Raman spectrum method. The electrolyte contains a compound represented by the following general formula (1).
