PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar power generating system that efficiently operates by avoiding a drop in power generation.SOLUTION: A solar power generating system includes: plural solar battery strings 2A, 2B, and 2C having plural solar battery cells 1 and a selection mechanism 4 for selectively changing the number of serial connections of the plural solar battery cells 1; a connection box 10 in which the plural solar battery strings 2A, 2B, and 2C are connected in parallel; and a device 20 for operating direct current power output from the connection box 10 with the maximum output.
