Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact vein authentification device that performs authentification at high speed.SOLUTION: A vein authentification device 100 according to the present invention comprises: an imaging part 21 that acquires a vein image made by photographing light transmitted through a finger irradiated with infrared light and a wrinkle image made by photographing light reflected from the finger irradiated with the infrared light; a vein image process part 12 that extracts vein information from the vein image; a wrinkle image process part 13 that extracts wrinkle information from the wrinkle image; an information registration part 14 that registers the vein information and the wrinkle information in association with each other as registration information 22a; a collation ranking determination part 15 that collates the wrinkle information extracted from the wrinkle image acquired by the imaging part 21 at a time of authentification and the wrinkle information of the registration information 22a and determines a collation ranking of the vein information of the registration information 22a on the basis of a collation result; and an authentification part 16 that collates the vein information extracted from the vein image acquired by the imaging part 21 at a time of authentification and the vein information of the registration information 22a in an order determined by the collation ranking.
