Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal and an image classification method capable of quickly classifying a plurality of images picked up by a continuous shooting function into groups in compact equipment with the processing capability restricted.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1 includes: an imaging part 101; and a group calculation part 105. The imaging part 101 is configured to generate a pickup image. The group calculation part 105 is configured to generate groups for classifying a plurality of pickup images generated by the imaging part 101, and to calculate a group to which each pickup image belongs. The group calculation part 105 is configured to, on the basis of a first pickup image as any one pickup image which belongs to a first group generated most recently, determine that an input second pickup image belongs to the first group, or that the second pickup image belongs to a newly generated second group in the case of calculating the group.
