Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard power generation system which can control damage of a device and lowering of power generation efficiency.SOLUTION: The onboard generation system 1 includes: an internal combustion engine 2 having an exhaust pipe 17, an evaporative gas passage 24, and a purge valve 25; a first device 3 provided in the exhaust pipe 17 which is electrically polarized by supply of exhaust gas whose temperature rises and falls with time; a second device 4 taking out power from the first device 3; a temperature sensor 6 detecting the temperature of the exhaust gas; and a second control unit 8 which allows opening operation of the purge valve 25, only when the temperature of the exhaust gas detected by the temperature sensor 6 is a predetermined temperature or more.
