Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery high in energy density and a method for manufacturing the secondary battery.SOLUTION: In a secondary battery, a first solid electrolyte layer 2P provided on a positive electrode 1 comprising an oxide sintered body and a second solid electrolyte layer 2N provided on a negative electrode 3 comprising an oxide sintered body are bonded via a lithium nitride layer 2M, thereby reducing the thickness of the solid electrolyte layer 2. Accordingly, a power generation element 8 itself can be reduced in thickness and the thickness of an electrode can be increased as compared with a secondary battery having the same volume, so that a filling factor of an active material is increased to achieve a secondary battery having high energy density.
