Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device for a fuel pump capable of improving convergence of a fuel pressure and response speed in start of an internal combustion engine without increasing the cost.SOLUTION: In a drive control device for controlling a fuel pump pressure-feeding fuel to a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine in accordance with a standard response model value of a fuel pressure, an initial value of the standard response model value in starting of driving of the fuel pump is set as an actual fuel pressure. By calculating a standard fuel pressure on the basis of the actual fuel pressure, an estimated fuel pressure can be substantially coincident with an actual pressure, and convergence of the fuel pressure and response speed in start of the internal combustion engine can be improved.
