Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic exposure control device that can easily provide the optimal exposure value in astronomical photography.SOLUTION: There is provided an automatic exposure control device including: a photographic optical system; an imaging part that photographs a subject image formed by the photographic optical system; an exposure factor setting part that sets an aperture value of the imaging optical system, an exposure time of the imaging part, and the degree of amplification to an image signal output from the imaging part, as exposure factors; and a photography control part that performs an imaging operation on the basis of the aperture value, exposure time, and the degree of amplification set by the exposure factor setting part, where the photography control part performs a first photography operation with predetermined first exposure factors set thereto, and the exposure factor setting part sets second exposure factors to be used in a second photography operation on the basis of the brightness of an image signal through the first photography operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
