Title:
消火用ホース
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6381181
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable fire hose capable of securing pressure resistance against high-pressure water discharge, abrasion resistance and flexibility.SOLUTION: A fire hose is stretchable, shrinks to prescribed length under an unloaded condition where water does not pass and stretches under a loaded condition where water passes. The fire hose comprises a watertight layer 12 and a cover layer 14. The watertight layer 12 is provided on a water passing surface directly contacting water, is stretchable at a prescribed stretch rate and is formed of a first material impervious to water such as synthetic rubber. The cover layer 14 is stuck to or mounted on the outside of the watertight layer 12, is stretchable at a stretch rate equal to or less than the stretch rate of the watertight layer 12 and is formed of a second material formed by intertwining fibers such as artificially-synthesized spider threads which have strength enough to withstand water pressure associated with the water passing.
