Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of oxide fine particles containing lanthanoid that may be suitably used for applications requiring low cohesion and especially high dispersibility of fine particles obtained by burning.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of oxide fine particles containing lanthanoid having an up-conversion function, includes: a precipitation step for precipitating hydroxide fine particles containing lanthanoid by adding an alkali solution to a metal salt solution containing lanthanoid; a burning step for burning the hydroxide fine particles containing lanthanoid; and a degraining step. In the precipitation step, a hardly thermally decomposable polymer of 0.025-0.25 wt.% is added and adsorbed to a surface of the hydroxide fine particles containing lanthanoid. In the burning step, the burning temperature is 700-1,200°C.
