PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derivation method of a fracture limit line in a weld zone by which the fracture limit line can be accurately derived for a joint by use of a weld technique in which the fracture limit line is not derived without performing a fracture limit derivation process.SOLUTION: A derivation method of a fracture limit line in a weld zone comprises the steps of: representing respective fracture limit lines by approximate expressions with respect to a steel type in which the fracture limit line in a spot weld zone and a lazer weld zone where a weld cooling rate is varied are derived in advance; representing a fracture limit line of the lazer weld zone by approximate expressions using a factor and a conversion factor of the approximate expression of the fracture limit line for the spot weld zone; generating a relation expression which a cooling rate Cof the lazer weld zone and the conversion factor satisfy; deriving the cooling rate Cfrom a feed rate of the lazer weld with respect to a steel type in which the fracture limit line of the lazer weld zone is not derived; calculating the conversion factor by substituting the derived Cin the relation expression; and converting the fracture limit line for the spot weld zone derived by the fracture limit line derivation process to the fracture limit line for the lazer weld zone by use of the calculated conversion factor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
