Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize the construction of a snap ring to allow easy work for mounting/removing it in/from a locking groove while easily preventing the interference with a mating member existing on the inner diameter side.SOLUTION: A pair of engaging protruded parts 53, 53 is provided at both ends in the circumferential direction of the inner peripheral face. On the side faces of both engaging protruded parts 53, 53 on the opposite side to a discontinuity part 52, out of both side faces in the circumferential direction, engaging face parts 54, 54 are provided which are used for elastically reducing an interval between both engaging protruded parts 53, 53 and with which a pair of tool pieces (a pair of front end pawl parts constituting a snap ring plier) can engage, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
