Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier charging type sewage treatment apparatus capable of obtaining a stable treatment capacity by easily and inexpensively suppressing clogging of a screen.SOLUTION: The carrier charging type sewage treatment apparatus is provided that comprises a biological reaction tank 10 in which biological treatment is performed using a carrier S. The biological reaction tank 10 has a shape with a width longer than a length. Haunches 11 are formed at corners of upper inner portions and lower inner portions of the tank wall of the longer side. A carrier separator 3 is arranged in a standing condition at the downstream side in the biological treatment tank 10 and a baffle plate 4 is arranged in a standing condition at the upstream side of the carrier separator 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
