Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembled battery arranged so that the reduction in battery capacity owing to gas retention can be suppressed by moving gas retained to an active material in an electrode body to outside the electrode body.SOLUTION: An assembled battery (1) comprises: an electrode body (20) including a positive electrode (21) having a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode (22) having a negative electrode active material including graphite and a separator (23); an outer packaging body (26) for sealing the electrode body together with an electrolyte; a heat exchange element (3) for performing heat exchange with the electrode body; and a control element (4) for controlling the operation of the heat exchange element. The outer packaging body partitions a buffer part (25) communicating with the electrode body. The buffer part is made a relatively negative pressure in comparison to other parts except the buffer part in charge/discharge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
