Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device capable of uniforming temperature distributions of cooling bodies of a converter and an inverter to almost equalize temperature rise of all semiconductor elements.SOLUTION: A power conversion device comprises: a converter circuit that converts an AC power into a DC power by on-off operations of a plurality of semiconductor elements; an inverter circuit that converts the DC power outputted from the converter into a three-phase AC power by on-off operations of a plurality of semiconductor elements; a first cooling body that mounts the semiconductor elements configuring the converter circuit on one surface and has a plurality of cooling fins on the other surface; a second cooling body that mounts the semiconductor elements configuring the inverter circuit on one surface and has a plurality of cooling fins on the other surface, and that is juxtaposed to the first cooling body; and a heat pipe for thermally coupling the first cooling body and the second cooling body with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
