Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of securing a suitable recognition range or visual field range regarding the recognition range of a periphery recognition device or the visual field of a driver of another vehicle.SOLUTION: In a driving support device 13, a behavior recognition unit 53 recognizes predicted behavior indicating a travel direction of another vehicle from now on around a host vehicle on the basis of information from at least one of a periphery recognition device to recognize the situation around the vehicle and a communication device to communicate with the outside mounted on the host vehicle. A host vehicle control unit 55 controls operation of the host vehicle so that at least one of the recognition range of a periphery recognition device mounted on the other vehicle and the visual field range of a driver of the other vehicle is expanded on the basis of the predicted behavior of the other vehicle when the host vehicle is driven automatically.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
