PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a communication system and the communication system that can save band resources and reduce video trouble when transmitting a video signal via an IP network.SOLUTION: A control method of a communication system of the present disclosure allows a network to select video transmitted from a remote place, thereby allowing useless video transmission to be avoided, and can save a network band. In addition, it can reduce video trouble at a time of switching by performing transmission of a video packet from a transmission device and switching of a network switch earlier on the basis of a delay time of the network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
