Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved method for evaluating explosiveness of a rotary hearth furnace raw material, which is capable of evaluating the explosiveness of the rotary hearth furnace raw material more accurately.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for evaluating explosiveness of a rotary hearth furnace raw material, which includes: a measuring step for measuring a mass reduction start temperature and a mass reduction speed in a heat-up process of a rotary hearth furnace raw material charged into a rotary hearth furnace; and an evaluation step for evaluating explosiveness of the rotary hearth furnace raw material based on the mass reduction start temperature and the mass reduction speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
