Abstract:
According to the present invention, provided is an automatic transmission capable of realizing seamless shift while inhibiting a frictional loss between a shift pork and a clutch ring. The automatic transmission comprises a pressing member to regulate an axial directional position of the shift port and a position determination groove having an inclined pressing surface. The inclined pressing surface includes a first inclined pressing surface where the pressing member is in contact with before a low speed clutch ring dog is lifted, and a second inclined pressing surface where the pressing member is in contact with after the low speed clutch ring dog is lifted. The second inclined pressing surface has an inclination angle smaller than that of the first inclined pressing surface.
