Abstract:
To reduce the power loss generated when an inverter device is activated by a commercial power source and a dispersion power source system.SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: an AC-DC converter (alternating-current to direct-current converter) for converting an alternating current to a direct current and outputting the direct current; a DC-AC converter (direct-current to alternating-current converter) for converting a direct current to an alternating current and outputting the alternating current to an inductive load; and power switching inverter systems 100a and 100b for supplying power to a compressor motor from at least one of an AC power source and a DC power source. In the air conditioner, a low voltage is supplied to the DC-AC converter in a mode in which the room temperature is stable, and cooling effects or warming effects can be obtained in a short time in another mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
