Abstract:
The invention relates to a pulser comprising a binary to bipolar converter (301), a first digital to analog converter (DAC) (302) configured to convert a digital output of the binary to bipolar converter to a first analog output and a second DAC (302) configured to convert a digital output of the binary to bipolar converter to a second analog output. Said pulser also comprises a first voltage amplifier (304) configured to amplify the first analog signal and a second voltage amplifier (305) configured to amplify the second analog signal. Said pulser further comprises a transformer (306) configured to combine the amplified first analog signal and the amplified second analog signal and output a multi-frequency or broadband pulser signal.
