Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an additive for cement which can sufficiently improve dispersibility of cement in a cement composition and can reduce an amount of a water-reducing agent; and a cement composition containing the additive for cement.SOLUTION: The additive for cement contains a copolymer having a structural unit (I) derived from an unsaturated polyalkylene glycol-based monomer (a) represented by general formula (1) and a structural unit (III) derived from an unsaturated amide-based monomer (c) represented by general formula (3). The copolymer contains a structural unit (II-1) in a content of 0 mol% to 30 mol%, the unit being derived from an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid-based monomer (b-1) represented by general formula (2-1), and a structural unit (II-2) in a content of 0 mol% to 10 mol%, the unit being derived from an unsaturated polyvalent carboxylic acid-based monomer (b-2) represented by general formula (2-2).SELECTED DRAWING: None
