Abstract:
Provided is an industrial robot capable of shortening a tact time of a manufacturing system in which the industrial robot is installed. The industrial robot comprises: a plurality of hands (3, 4) on which returning objects are individually mounted and, at the same time, arranged at the same height; a plurality of hand supporting members (7, 8) to which each of the plurality of hands (3, 4) is fixed; a holding member (11) for holding the plurality of hand supporting members (7, 8) such that the plurality of hand supporting members (7, 8) are linearly reciprocable in the same horizontal direction; and a plurality of hand driving mechanisms (22, 23) for individually reciprocating each of the plurality of hand supporting members (7, 8) with respect to the holding member (11).
