Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat ray-shielding fine particles and a heat ray-shielding fine particle dispersion liquid containing the heat ray-shielding fine particles, which exhibit heat ray-shielding characteristics and suppress scorching feeling on a skin, when applied to a structure such as a window material, and which allow use of a communication apparatus, an imaging apparatus, a sensor or the like using near infrared light through a heat ray-shielding film or a heat ray-shielding glass each constituting the structure, or through a dispersion material or a laminated transparent substrate.SOLUTION: The heat ray-shielding fine particles are composite tungsten oxide fine particles represented by general formula of (LM)WOhaving elements L and M, tungsten, and oxygen, and having a hexagonal crystalline structure, where the element L is an element selected from K, Rb, and Cs and the element M is at least one element selected from K, Rb, and Cs and different from element L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
