Abstract:
This production management system 10 comprises: wireless tags 22A-22F attached to respective in-process items, each wireless tag storing an in-process item ID number of the respective in-process item; and a plurality of antenna devices 24A-24F to which antenna ID numbers are assigned, each antenna device being configured so as to be able to read the in-process item ID number from the wireless tags and output a data signal including information comprising an in-process item ID number that has been read and the antenna ID number. A processing devices 12A-12D, 14A-14D communicates to a worker, or transmits to a transportation robot, the location of the in-process item specified on the basis of: the information on the antenna ID number in the data signal including the information on the in-process item ID number; and the position of installation of the antenna device to which said antenna ID number is assigned.
