Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding end tab which is useful for welding of two H-shaped steel beams to one square steel pipe column, and a welding method using the same.SOLUTION: A welding end tab is used for welding of two beam members formed of two H-shaped steels being second and third base materials to a column member being a first base material being a square steel pipe used by a non-diaphragm method. One side of the orthogonal two side surfaces of a square column-shaped base body is a second base material contact surface, and the other side surface is a third base material contact surface. A recessed part being a welding use part of the predetermined depth is formed in a corner part of crossing these second and third base material contact surfaces. One side part of the recessed part communicates with one welding groove formed between the first base material and the second base material, and the other side part communicates with the other welding groove formed between the other side surface adjacent to the side surface of the first base material and the third base material. The welding end tab is vertically divided into at least two parts, a lower welding end tab and an upper welding end tab.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
