Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardness tester and hardness test method, which allow for complying with a test method standard without deep knowledge of the test method standard and which improves work efficiency.SOLUTION: A hardness tester comprises: storage means (storage unit 103) configured to store applicable standards or usage conditions of a test method, and settings of predefined test conditions in association with each other; setup means (control unit 100) configured to obtain a predefined test condition from the storage means on the basis of an applicable standard or usage condition selected by an operator and set up the same; and measurement means (control unit 100) configured to perform a hardness test based on the predefined test condition set up by the setup means to measure hardness of a sample.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
