Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a teaching device and a control information-generating method with which a robot can be taught movement actions as well as details of work at a work position. The teaching device displays tracings of markers on which motion capture has been performed on a capture display section (123) of a display screen (121). A user can set relay points at desired positions on a tracing on the capture display section (123) by pointing with a pointer (135) and clicking. When the user selects an intended work from a list box of a work information registry box (171), the teaching device associates the selected work information with the corresponding relay point. When the write out button (195) of the display screen (121) is selected, the teaching device outputs the associated data as control information.
