Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously implement reduction of delay in data transmission from an ONU, reduction of delay fluctuation, avoidance of delay fluctuation of a downlink signal and suppression of band consumption with a control signal during a communication between an OLT and the ONU.SOLUTION: An OLT 21A comprises a DBA calculation part 67 for allocating a data transmissible band of an ONU 32a within a DBA term T in which DBA calculation for dynamically allocating a band corresponding to traffic volume that is transmitted when the ONU 32a receives data from a host, is performed at predetermined intervals, through the DBA calculation. The DBA term T is divided by a transmission term in which the ONU 32a transmits data received from the host, thereby calculating a dividing number (n) that is a data transmission number of the ONU 32a. The allocated band is divided by the dividing number (n), thereby calculating a divided allocation band. A control information management part is provided for performing an instruction, upon the ONU 32a, for the ONU 32a to transmit data to the OLT 21A in accordance with the divided allocation band in transmission timing corresponding to a transmission term (f).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
